In a matter of minutes, the Yeezy Season 4 show will begin in New York City. For those that recall, the Season 3 show was full of highlights and celebrity model appearances, but for sneakerheads the standout was the early look at the upcoming adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2.
Wavier than the original by way of more color, polarizing side striping and a translucent sole, the shoe has been seen on the feet of Kanye West, models, and close friends, but otherwise remained unreleased and only previewed by the select few who have been able to secure a pair.
With recent word that the shoe will launch on September 24th, Sneaker News is reporting that the updated model will also retail for $220 — $20 more than its predecessor. When considering the resale value of the original, this jump isn’t too bad. In addition, there is also the aesthetic upgrades previously noted. Most importantly for sneakerheads, these are said to be the most accessible Yeezy release with many more pairs produced and available — or so we hope.
